Join the Vantage team and drive more than just deliveries – drive customer satisfaction.
At Vantage Motor Group, we’re more than a dealership network – we’re a team of automotive professionals who take pride in delivering outstanding service and building lasting relationships with our customers.
We’re now looking for a Parts Advisor/Driver who can also bring the mindset and skills of an experienced parts team member – your main responsibility will be to support the Parts Team with the collection and delivery of Toyota Leeds parts to and from other dealerships, and local non-franchise businesses. As part of the role you will be required to obtain new business by visiting new customers and presenting our offers and services. We will also expect you to discuss additional offers that may appeal to the clients we deliver to, in order to grow our trade parts performance.
This is a full time role and typically you will be expected to work 42.5 hours per week, over Monday to Friday.
What you’ll do
As a key member of our Parts Department, you’ll be responsible for:
- Safely and efficiently delivering parts to trade and retail customers, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and reliability.
- Supporting the Parts Advisors by taking incoming calls, handling enquiries, and providing product information.
- Proactively identifying sales opportunities – upselling and promoting parts, accessories, and related services.
- Carrying out cold calls and follow-ups to increase parts sales and grow our trade customer base.
- Assisting with stock control, goods-in and dispatch processes, and keeping accurate records.
- Representing Vantage Motor Group professionally at all times, both on the road and in the showroom.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a customer-focused, commercially minded Parts Driver – not just a driver. You’ll have:
- Previous experience in a motor trade parts department, ideally within a franchise dealership.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to sell and build rapport.
- A proactive approach – confident in making calls and developing new business opportunities.
- A full UK driving licence and a clean driving record and confident driving a large van.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering first-class customer service.
