Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience: Build trust, communicate clearly, and exceed customer expectations. Deliver an outstanding, industry-leading buying experience while effectively handling and resolving customer queries and complaints.
- Sales Team Support: Assist in daily operations, including customer contact, managing the sales funnel, deal structuring, and closing. Ensure professional vehicle preparation and manage stock levels efficiently.
- Performance Management: Drive the sales process and motivate the team to achieve monthly KPIs, including unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products. Ensure sales and profit targets are consistently met.
- Data Management: Oversee accurate collection of customer contact and vehicle data, maintaining compliance with FCA obligations. Deliver timely and precise sales forecasts and reports.
- Leadership: Inspire and lead the sales team with a focus on engagement, motivation, and exceptional performance.
About You
- Proven success in a sales management, sales controller, or retail management role, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage your team.
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and results.
- Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and driven to achieve excellence. Experience in the motor trade, automotive, or car dealership sector is preferred but not essential—comprehensive training will be provided.
- Accredited experience with any automotive brand and over five years in a sales management role would be advantageous.
